Do you mean that there is a breed that translates from the Swedish as an Orlov Trotter, or are you asking a fictitious name of that type would ring true?

Well, Orlove is the region (sorry for misspelling it the first time) and Trotter is the expression for that special kind of horse...

A quick search shows that the Orlov Trotter (without an e) is indeed a breed of horse.

Arrrggghhhhh!!! Finishing this entry almost drove me crazy (-ier)!
OK, tidied it up, got two words in red because I'm not sure of them:
- Cossack trot, because I could only find it mentioned on one site, and it didn't describe it
- stand, because I'm not sure that's the word I'm really looking for
Grateful if any of you horse people could proof read it and let me know what you think...
