Show must go on is a classic.. though what it reminds us of isn't a "Kodak moment" if you like.. It's almost a decade now, isn't it? RED-DRAGON (ade) tells me, anyway.. Best asking him

SMGO is a very classic thing indeed....
ATM I've got a John Otway Ballad going around my head - the House of the Rising Sun, although His and Attilla the Stockbrokers version of You ain't seen nothing yet is running a close second....

I don't know if someone has mentioned this in another conversation but Radio 2 did a wonderful tribute to Freddie on the 24th Nov. They had a collection of taped interviews with him, spanning his career and these were linked with brief, informative facts and interviews with Brian and Roger. The tapes had never been broadcast before.

I didn't know that!
But if you see the news part of the club, you'll find that Beeb Deux did adocumentuary on his life called "Freddie Mercury: The untold story". Bit of a contradiction really, because half of that was what was publicised about him, but I never knew that he wanted to be an so there you go.. Learn something new every day, don't you?

The documentary BBC2 screened was a repeat. I had seen it before and, as you say, it didn't reveal anything not already known. I've got a few good biographies on Queen and Freddie Mercury. Shame really I always feel a little sad on the 24th Nov. I still remember the day he died and what I was doing.

I missed the Radio 2 tribute as well, even though I had noted the time etc, etc. Still managed to be doing something entirely useless at the time, and forgot all about it.
