some bloke who tried to think of a short, catchy, pithy name and spent five sleepless nights trying but couldn't think of one Posted Sep 7, 2001
Hi. I've programmed in (in approximate order of learning) ASIC (a variant of BASIC), HTML, Java, JavaScript, Bash, C, C++, CSH, Perl, Lex and Yacc. I have some understanding of LISP, Scheme, Smalltalk, Pascal, Ada and Fortran, but no practical experience. I've programmed in DOS, windoze 95/98 and Linux.

HTML isn't a programming language, it's a markup language. But I like the look of the rest. Welcome!
It's not up to me to add you to the roster though!

Added some bloke who tried to think of a short, catchy, pithy name and spent five sleepless nights trying but couldn't think of one, but, do you have a shorter name, so it won't bw so awkward in the directory
Twinkle, I'm still waiting for you, if you want me to write it just tell me.

Oh! Did I hear 'Doppler Effect' there? I need something to link to, from one or more of the 'radar' entries, once I get around to finish them!

Yes, I wrote to Tango about your project and told him that crosslinks might be a good idea, just go to Tango's personal space and open the Doppler Effect Entry. It does need work, but I think I'll be good. Here... A link, so you don't need to work too hard :-) http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F75810?thread=140369 <>< Dancer
