Talking Point: What Are you Scared Of?

55 Conversations

No matter our race, colour, creed or class, there is one thing that we all have in common. We are all afraid of something, we all have a phobia of some description.

Phobias range from the understandable, such as a fear of spiders (arachnophobia) or mice (musophobia), to the exceptionally odd, such as a fear of the number 13 (triskaidekaphobia) or beards (pogonophobia).

Tell us what makes your heart palpitate and your knees turn to jelly with fear. Have you learnt to conquer your fear? Tell us, and maybe you'll help someone else to do the same.

Argh! Look there's a spider!
