Melbourne Meet 2004
tanzen Posted Dec 8, 2004
Well that goes without saying
But it's getting kind of tricky picking a day as is...if there's a day that everyone can go, I say go for it...if I miss out well I miss out

The 15th is also no good for me, as is just about any other Wednesday you care to mention and I'd prefer it not to be a weeknight. But then I think we have some here who would prefer it not to be on a weekend. Hmmmmmmm, dilemma.
The other alternative would be to have our pre-Christmas Meet in the week after Christmas. Things have generally settled down a bit by then, people are less likely to be running from one function to another and, from my point of view, our offices are closed between Christmas and New Year.

Yeah, I have been thinking that it might be best to postpone until January - week after Christmas is no good for me as I'm out of the state until the 9th of January. Of course, you could all go ahead and have the meet without me if you want, I won't mind So how does... ooo, I don't know, the 15th of Jan sound? ER, could you send me a quick email?

I could send you an email, Your Maj..... the only real stumbling block is the fact that I don't have your email address with me here at wo*k......

I have been off line for a while and have just caught up with this.
I gather that this Thursday is NOT happening and we are waiting to see if 15 January is a goer.
To add to the mayhem how about Sunday 23 afternoon/evening somewhere like StKilda beach (I am not really up with the beach thing, but someone might know a decent one!)

Hmmm.... beach.... I prefer being inside, but I guess I don't care where it is. *thinks* I wonder when we are going up to Sydney...... I will have to ask my mum some time... but she is asleep now.

I think we're definitely postponing until January sometime now... I implore you all to clear your calenders while you have the chance! The weekend of the 22nd-23rd might be better, so lets say that for now

That reminds me... I should actually get a calendar next year... I didn't have one this year.
