he thinks of all the Pirates living and dead that he has associated with.

It is midnight on the Pirate ship. a flys about the old bar rattling it's chain and moaning eerily.

the ghost finds a long discarded rum bottle and flies through it.
The chain strikes it shattering the glass which lies in shards along the floor.

the ghost thinks back to the deserted assembly bay of an Oil Pumping Unit company. Would that those bottles there were so easily broken but they had been made of that new plastic PETE and the chain had little effect on them. then again the chain kept dragging in that crude oil. To this day some of it still clings.
