Cabin 47: Security - Janine Koga
Dizzy the Void Posted Sep 1, 2001
I noticed several problems with the above post.
1. Yaradovich Kramer is the full name of the character in question (hereinafter, "YK"). "Et al" is Latin for "And others". There is no character named "Al".
2. YK isn't here. This fact has been categorically been stated at the BEGINNING of this thread, which you ought to read sometime, since it is clear from your lack of knowledge that you haven't. For further information, read http://www.h2g2.com/A496091 rule 2.
3. Janine Koga, however, is. There is no indication that you are aware that she exists. Again, read this thread.
4. Janine and Kefka are discussing what to do about Kefka's duplicate, Neo-Kefka, who wants to destroy the ship, and Neo-Kefka isn't here. You are attacking some good guys (Well ... Janine's good, anyway) for no reason whatsoever. Janine and Kefka are on YOUR side, for Bob's sake!
5. You have breached the bit of nettiquitte about letting the researcher to whom a character belongs to take the hits given them. For example, which would you prefer? [YK shoots Alec, killing him] or [YK shoots Alec]? The first choice is out of the question, as far as I'm concerned. The second allows you to defend yourself, or dodge, or whatever. And even if my post establishes that it does, in fact, hit you, you can always have the shot bounce off your bulletproof vest (as long as you can prove that you've had it on all this time).
6. Nothing in this thread indicates that the air conditioning was on in the first place.
7. This is supposed to be during the day. Why any of the above imagined characters would be in their beds or the lights would be off in this cabin is beyond me, especially since there's only one bed, as established in posts 1 and 4.
8. What the hell did you mean by "Barney beds" or "letting another one drop"??
In my opinion, this is enough to indicate that your post did not happen, due to an excess of impossibility.
[Janine and Kefka leave for the bridge, which is where Neo-Kefka is. Janine, seeing Alec down the hall in the opposite direction from the one she's going in, waves to him.]

..alec continues on his way, doing something important to further the running of this mighty vessel, sees janine, and with a big,
waves rule #6 back at her...

I wasn't taking offense. I was pointing out the inherent impossibility of your post. Ah, whatever. They've left the bridge already, anyway.
[OOC] Where're they going now?
They're going to Cabin 22.

*a diamond plate hatch in the ceiling opens up...alec climbs down and rearranges to read
climbs back through the hatch, dropping one on his way out *
