I'm fine thanks Light. I just feel a little melancholy from seeing lots of people touched by recent events & quite a few grieving openly. There must have been 10,00 people at the service this lunchtime.
Yes, I'll try a greeh tuc - and don't worry, I shaln't be dueling anyone today!

I went to visit my dad yesterday and while we were watching the news he said "you know, the only difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist is whose side you're on"
He wasn't agreeing with what had been done to the usa he too thinks that in this day and age people should not be able to get away with mass killings of this sort in the name of a cause. The point he was trying to make is a terroriest will see himeself as a freedom fighter.

Absolutely right tuc - these were not idiots . One of the things that scares me is that they were highly trained, intelligent people. There were pilots (not just have-a-go flyers, trained pilots), explosives experts, structural engineers, security experts and so forth involved. Some of them spoke several languages fluently they had planned & tested everything they possibly could - they were clever, talented people who had devoted years of training to this catastrophy. They must have believed that they were doing a good thing.
*gulps greeh & coughs uncontrollably*

I wonder how much more these people could have acheived if they had devoted their talents to building a better life for their own families and nation.

Oh Light, while you're pouring could I have a cup. This greeh is all a bit much for me & I could use something a little more gentle.
Hi Gosho!

Pretty good thanks LHG - it's Sunday lunchtime for me right now. I'm thinking of going to the pub for a lunchtime drink, getting sloshed, and rolling home to find my dinner in the dog and 'Er Indoors with a face like thunder Of course, 'Er Indoors is at work, we don't have a dog (although I'm sure that the cats would like to bury their faces in a Sunday roast ) and there aren't any pubs around here... well, not that you could call a local anyway. So I'll just sip your lovely instead How about you?
