Shagbark returns to crows nest. He notes the gathering gloom in the West and then turns to see the lighthouse on the horizon dead ahead.
Looks like we beat the storm. I'll notify the bridge.

er...i believe the coffee machine makes a better cup of
the dumbwaiter just tends to go up, and down shagbark.

Is that the machine in the employee lounge or the one in the Lighthouse bar? I know we don't have one in the crow's nest.

Yeah, since the autoppilot doesn't work Kes is using a Harrison4
Chronograph and he passed out watches. See Mine(shows watch)
You need acurate time to calculate position if you don't have GPS.

We just finished reading "Longitude", the story of the quest to accurately determine longitude while at sea. It took hundreds of years to develop an accurate method. Harrison's clocks did the trick.
