I don't remember seeing david in Anna Karenina, but apparently there was a tv series in 2000 and he was in it.

Don't think I saw it, but it's interesting to see all the things they were in.

yeah. I wish the bbc would keep a page for Hitchhikers I don't know if there still is one. there was one a while back.
God, it took me ages to type that sentence. really bad typos today!

Think it's still there. Think the beeb keep pages as an archive, even if they don't update them anymore.

Thanks
yay-it's still there! I thought they'd taken the page off

that was lucky. I was going to see if there were any hhgttg wallpapers. I'd be surprised if there aren't. Doctor Who's got a page.
Actually one thing that has bugged me for ages is that the BBC can't release the hhgttg theme tune as a ringtone because it's technically not theirs-it's an eagles tune isn't it? I've always thought it'd be a good ringtone to have.

Found them! they didn't used to be there. Maybe it's something they added later.

Yeah, would be good ringtone. Only found out recently that it was the Eagles who wrote it. Good for them. Though perhaps if you hgot the theme on CD or something, you could get it onto your pone if it connects to your pc?

As it happens I haven't, and my phone is not new but it does have usb connections, so you never know! I have photos on my phone from way back that I really need to take off it, but last time I tried to transfer stuff from my phone it didn't work, so I took the cable and stuff back to the phone shop. Maybe I ought to see if I can pick one up again. it might work now we've got broadband and stuff

Yeah. Took me months and two cables to finally get the pics off my lasdt phone. Still have the cables and trying to sell them on ebay at the moment, but no bidders yet. Your phone's not a Samsung is it?

NPY Posted Mar 24, 2008
I'm sure they'll be about somewhere. People do hang onto phones for ages.

Kaz Posted Mar 24, 2008
Yeah. the phone I had in college lasted a good five years-I only replaced it when it started to fall apart! I don't understand people who get new phones every year. I mean, what's the point? if it ain't broke, don't fix it. My folks had a computer printer for ten years before it packed up about two years ago !!! (and it was an epson, so they can't be as bad as some people think).
What do you reckon?

I know! I saw an ad fairly recently where the company were allowing you to change your phone half way through your contract if you wanted. What a waste!!! I'm with you. I only changed my last tw phones when the screeens started to pack in.

Kaz Posted Mar 25, 2008
Yeah why do they do that? One of my friends has a nokia phone and the screen packed up not long after she'd had it. Just thought, did Douglas ever mention how each researcher stayed in touch with each other? I can't imagine Ford having a mobile
