I don't know which story is scarier...the little girl or the concert!
And anyone feel free to jump in and continue the story anytime!! It gets much more interesting that way...

Oh my god, a MONKEYS concert near by ...
Isn't that what they used to call 'Hardcore'?
*cuddles closes to St. Shea*
*Whispers into Shea's ear:* I knew that the story was going to be scary, but that's utterly frightening!

Please do all come to the Midsummer Night's Celebration here at the Muses's Campfire. It's taking place at http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/F69959?thread=122558 . Midsummer Night is going to be on Thursday, 21 June 2001, but the thread is already open. We're hoping to see all kinds of Midsummer Night rites and customs (jumping through the fire, kissing under the mistletoe, ...) from all over the world. Please spread the word! Jeremy, Stoker of the Campfire

In my town, there is a zoo, and they have an amphitheatre for concerts and suchlike. A couple of years ago, Micky, Davy and Peter played at this venue. The Monkees gave a concert at the zoo! hee hee hee. We went, but we stayed in our boat on the river that runs next to the zoo. It was great---we could see and hear all, but it didn't cost us anything. We weren't the only ones with the idea either, there were 23 other boats in that cove along with us.
They sounded good, though! The Monkees were hot stuff when I was a kid---I mean, before I was born. har har har
Micky was my favorite. ((sigh))

--the story continues--
...the little girl turns around and there, standing in the doorway, is none other than Micky himself!! To her horror, she realizes that this ex-Monkee plans on forcing her to listen to that old LP out front!!
She runs to the far corner of the room and has her back to a bookshelf...Micky coming right for her. Not knowing what to do, she reaches behind herself, grabs a book, and hurls it at Micky! She sees her chance and lunges for the door...on the way out she notices that the book she threw was entitled "Curious George"...
She gets into the hallway and runs toward the back of the house, looking for her parents, but instead she finds...
