First, apologies if this edition hits the news-stand a little later than normal. It has been a tricky business commiting this issue to the net because of 'time-outs'. Maybe the pressure of too many people tuning in to hear the latest scores from Wimbledon have put a strain on the BBC servers?

You may notice a few new features in your Post this week. We welcome onto the team Frankie Roberto with his series of interviews and Prof. C. Tonks with what is hoped to be an interactive column.

The Post is working on a new game to which we hope some brave researchers will willingly submit. More details of this and the all-important 'how to take part' will feature in the next edition.
