How refreshing. An afternoon tea club, this is the first time I have come across this activity on the web and I am all for it.

Choices, choices. I have to confess though that I am allergic to all but Mate tea so.....I am partial to a crustless cucumber sandwich though

Try the strawberry cup. Or perhaps some fresh fruit juice.

It is rather warm, isn't it. I'm hoping some of those gorgeous cricketers come over soon, liven the place up. Let's go for a stroll to see if anyone's playing croquet. Have you ever played?

Oohh am I too late to join in?
Is there any tea left in the pot?
How splendid! (actually, the weather here really is beautiful at the moment!)

There's oodles of tea - and lots of dishy butlers serving it.
Hopefully the hot weather will put people into the mood for coming here. I had hoped that people would like to come and dream here while the weather ouside, IRL, was not so sultry as here.
How did Pheroneous get everyone to come to Camelot just like that? Where do you advertise these things?

how perfectly adorable!
a place that's forever a sunny friday afternoon... how charmingly quaint, and you say there's a possibility of a cicket match! marvelous.
i should think it would be fantasiticly perfect if there was a pot of Earl Grey and some home made scones about the place....
oh! there is! i shall stay forever!

All the food is home made! You are welcome to add your recipes - I will pass them on to the kitchen staff.
And there is not only Earl Grey, but several other kinds of tea, served in our best silver teapots by our well-trained butlers.
Where would you like to go - the arbour? The terrace? the croquet lawn?

yashya Posted May 29, 2001

Well, the terrace was the bit for the older ladies. having looked at your space in the meantime, I would put you on the croquet lawn, but as there's not much going on there yet, hang around the tables here and see who turns up. Maybe some of those cricket players ... must put an official invitation up at the pavilion.
