Yeah, but the Lazlo Woodbine can only appear on four sets. His office, a bar, an alleyway, or a rooftop. If he's ever anywhere else then he closes his eyes and pretends he isn't there.

So?

So... I'm a Holmes fan. I find it very annoying when people steal things from various things I happen to be a fan of, e.g. LotR, Star Trek:TOS, Sherlock Holmes. I would describe myself as a semi-rabid Trekkie-Tolkienite-Sherlockian-geek.

It's a comic novel, he's bound to parody some things. Sherlock Holmes ever appears in "East of Ealing". (He was real and was frozen in time.)

Yeah, I know parodies of some stuff are going to happen, it's just he didn't have to pick Reichenbach, so that was an intentional parody.

Stop complaining. He's a funny guy. Have you read his author biography? Every one is different, and none of them are true!

The one for Fandom of the Operator says it was written posthumously, via some psychic person. I didn't believe it, and now I get confirmation that none of his 'biographies' are true.

I think that there's two which say that he's dead. Very funny guy.

Yeah, okay, I'll stop complaining. Yes, he is funny. My library only has two of his books in book form, and has about four as sound recordings.

I'm buying his books at the moment. I should be recieving the last two through the post in the next few days. The thing with his books is that once you've finished, you just put his books on a high shelf and leave them there.

Eck. The one I read had some sort of evil hold over me, so that I finished it in two days, something I've not done in quite a while.

You're addicted then, and dont try reading the same book again because it wont work. You see, there is a certain drug in the words that passes into you're body when you read the book. But if you read the book a second time the drug is gone and you see the book for the piece of cr*p that it really is. The only solution is to go out and buy MORE of his books.

Well, I can't, because my mom read it, and decided maybe I shouldn't read it, so if I want to read another I'll have to get it from the library which only has one other.

My mom has no idea the kinds of things I read.

Neither does mine, she just payed for them. She's an incredibly slow reader. My sister gets free books in magazines and when she's finished she gives them to my mother. My mother now has so much bloged books that they make a tower about a meter high in her room.

Hehe. My mom disapproved of the... erm... 'adult content'. I've read worse.

You should read the Armagedon quartet (three books). It has a graphic portrayal of girl-on-girl action.
