Unfortunately, outside of the UK the characters DO need introduction. The show does play in NZ, where I live, but is tucked away in a funny timeslot and I don't have a video so I never see it . I hear great things about it, though.
You need to be a bit more obsessive, a bit more fan-like. Explain to Little Britain virgins like me exactly why it's so cool. I like the quote, so definitely keep that

Have a look at some of these entries and see if they help you improve yours:

A623620 - 'Big Brother' - the TV Programme (UK)
A4113938 - 'The West Wing' - the TV Show

And there's plenty of other good edited entries about TV programmes out there to give you an idea of what we're looking for

Opticalillusion- media mynx life would be boring without hiccups Posted Sep 10, 2005
Hmm I think you could go in for what Little Britain is about, the history behind those who have made these characters come to life and try not to be so listing. I think a great article needs a flow and you are stopping your article from flowing neatly with descriptions for each character. The suggestion made earlier by a fellow H2G2er on looking at other entries is very helpful indeed and can spark imagination. Maybe these articles could eventually all be grouped together too. I would say a picture would be lovely but I'm guessing that you'll have to find one from the H2G2 library and it'll most likely be a pic of Britain or how abouts the radio mike vs tv remote thing (if thats the picture I'm referring to). Maybe even bring in which has been most popular. I'm also pretty sure you'll find a web site full of info that could help you on this topic elsewhere. Anyway I think you've probably had enough of me ranting on so good luck and hope to see your entry visiting the front pages of H2G2 soon.

Hi drmegabite
I love this programme. I think it would help to have a bit more in the introduction. Also there are some good characters missing from your Entry.
And the sections of some of the characters could be improved a bit. "Rubbish transvestite" isn't really the same meaning as 'unconvincing transvestite', also a bit more could be said about Andy and some of the others.
The reader will not be aware that the words in brackets are their catch-phrases, that needs to be explained a little, rather than in brackets.
And please remove the picture before you submit this to Peer Review, pictures are not allowed in Entries in PR. If once this Entry has been through the Peer Review process, it may be chosen to have a new picture from the community artists.
I've not been very constructive, it's just past 2am, I'll come back when I'm more awake.

Emmily ~ Roses are red, Peas are green, My face is a laugh, But yours is a scream Posted Oct 30, 2005
Is this Entry just about the first series? There are quite a few missing characters. If it is about the first series you will need to mention that, and if it is just about the first series, Daffyd didn't wear rubber outfits in the first series.
There was a TV programme recently about the making of Little Britain, and Matt and David were recently on Parkinson; I have both on video, I'll try to watch them over the next day or so, see if there's anything of interst you may like to add.

You'll need to make some changes to the character descriptions before this is ready for Peer Review Dr. Megabite. As they stand they are too close to the descriptions here:

(I did hint that I was aware of this when I said, "Rubbish transvestite" isn't really the same meaning as 'unconvincing transvestite" in post #7)
If I was describing Emily I'd say something like:
"With her long frilly frocks, flowery hats and over made-up face Emily is an unconvincing transvestite. In a futile attempt to convince people, she proclaims 'I'm a lady' to everyone she meets.
In series two, Emily is joined by, and is the mentor of the even more unconvincing transvestite Florence. Florence has a moustache, and you can sometimes see his Dr Martin boots, beneath his long frilly frock. Both these 'ladies' can sometimes be seen at the urinal in the 'little boys room'"
