It is a funny show, but a lot of Little Britain, owes it's characterisation and basic ideas to a forerunner BBC comedy, that is "The League of Gentlemen". I think the Fat Fighters character is very similar to Pauline the character of The League of Gentlemen who helmed up the Job seekers club....imo, Pauline was much more out there and funny and over the top. But I guess the thing about Little Britain is it is more available humour, in that it is more obvious hit you over the head humour, appeal to the masses, than The League of Gentlemen, which became increasingly more dark as the series went on. I would like Little Britain to introduce some different characters I think the format is becoming a little stale. Thank-you for informing me that Tom Baker does the voice over though I did not know that. Cheers, Serin
