h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

*a large wagon drawn by two clydesdales pulls up in front of the BOF Inn. Inside the wagon are assorded salonistas, several webjellos, a stuffed bunny and some pug dogs*

*Several riders accompany the wagon*

Here's the BOF Inn, ladies and gents. We can enjoy a good draught ale and tidy ourselves up for our arrival at the atelier. I'll water the horses.

*brakes the wagon and jumps down*

Hmmm, now who greets them, can't be me, I'm up on the carraige, ooo what a quandry. Really must get more staff for this place, or even customers
*A rubbery face apears round the door of the Inn, quickly followed by the rest of the Rubber Inflatable Emergency Barman. He beams squeakily at the carraige and waves people in.*

A drink? A drink! *Floradora leaps handily out of the tram, nodding to the strange barman, and heads into the Snug, from where she hears other voices*

Ah yes, the family offshoot. Never did understand why father subsidised my brother in this. Anyhoo, all in, I'm sure he will make us welcome.
*Drops down from the shotgun position and holds the carraige door*

*Dismounts from his horse and ties the reins to the back of the tram. Dusts himself off and follows Floradora into the snug. Affy, chewing contentedly on a wad of PAG, follows.*

*Waits patiently under the bench until the other passengers debark.*

*hesitant whether to join the others inside or not, most of all wanting to finally get back to the Atelier*

**Peers out of upstairs window**

Good grief! Gets more like an everyday story of country folk every day.

**Disappears**

/* Peeks under the bench. */

Witty, how did you get under there? Carmel Bunny I can understand, but really that is not a becoming spot for a lady.

/* Enters the pub, while Zeppo peeks under the bench and starts licking. */

[X and Zero are also among those who arrive, thus throwing into the wind any attempts to figure out what exactly is going on. ]

*the pugs take Zeppo's cue and set upon Witty, tongues flying.*

Carmel OOC - I haven't been posting a great deal as I have been preparing to take my human owners(Mac and Mrs. Mac) on the road to run on of my Live Action Games. We will be in Maryland all weekend and I fear I won't post at all until Tuesday. Wish me luck, and if anything explodes of catches fire this weekend please be so kind as to rescue me. *Witty crawls out from under the bench and wipes the kisses off her face with her hankie.*

Wow, I haven't been to the BOF Inn in quite some time. I'm a little hesitant to go in there, I'm bound to get another committee assigned to me.

*Steps down from the carriage and enters the Inn, giving the RIB a playful poke in the belly.*

I wonder where he came from.

*ties up the mare next to the others in back of the tram and walks into the saloon*

*Slides off Gandalf*

I could really do with a drink... If you want to go on ahead, T, I'm sure I'll be able to squeeze onto the coach [No pressure ]

Coffee, coffee... *goes into the back and returns with a somewhat fossilised jar of nescafe* Coming up!

*puts kettle on to boil*

Eh... *feeling guilty* ...ok then, just a short stop... *slides off Gandalf*

Was that Lil I saw just a moment ago?

*enters the inn*

*Gets out of the tram and smooths his leaves.*

My, that was quite an experience! I could do with a drink. Do they have bottled water here, do you think?
