Your poetry is certainly promising. It reminds me (in a way) of the works of Wordsworth, although your rhythm seems to lapse occasionally.

My lord has his roots even further back that Wordsworth. I see the influence of Chaucer, perhaps even the Beowulf poet, in the idiosyncratic spelling he employs.

My lord cannot possibly be from the Isles. One of the colonies perhaps? smiley - winkeye

Perhaps his lordships depend too much on the Brandy muse for inspiration. As a mere commoner, I may be missing the point of the poet's art, so forgive the barb, but the reliance on the baser muse always makes me smile. True poetry comes from a higher calling and inspirations unbidden. Call me naive, but alcoholic art is base and not fitting a lord. Fine and dandy for trifles, but not for the weight of true art or the artisan.

As a well educated *hic-ups* lord i know the full enormity of alcohol abuse *hic-ups again* so let me tell you kids (if any are reading this) DONT DO IT!! DON'T GIVE IN TO THE VOICES, THEY ARE BAD VOICES, BAD I TELL YOU, BAD!!!! WHAT EVER THE BOTTLE SAYS, IT DOESN'T WANT TO BE DRUNK, IT WILL NOT FULLFILL ITS LIFE TO BE GUZZLED DOWN BY YOUR YOUNG MOUTH, LEAVE THE ALCOHOL ALONE!!!
Now that i have got that out of my system i think that i should tell you marj, that i find your insults drifting from the playful, towards the tiresome. as much as i like your company, i feel greatly agrieved that you even considered to mention the idea that lord smooth would harm himself so much that he would take a liver away from a poor inocent person who needed it out of know fault of his own. (i must say though, marj, i have very much missed your emails and hope you will find the time to send me one soon)

Your spellimg is slipping again by the way. Do look at my page, I am famous don't know whether I can mention it on here but it is the same place.
