I should love to see the judges complete the following challenge smiley - evilgrin:
Write a Valentine, based on one of three adjectives. (I've played fair and chosen the first 3 from the most recent piece of their writing I could find.)

Galaxy Babe: in-your-face, talentless, memorable;
Pinn: long, last, seasonal:
Skankyrich: novel, brand-new, great.

Tee-hee!

Bum. I thought I'd come up with something for the next challenge, but it's very like something that's already in the Gudie, so I'll have to do some tweaking or re-orienting.

Ooooh, beggar. I could work this up into a perfectly respectable GE. But would the judges pounce on it as not sufficiently stretching? I think I need to face my demons and do some fiction smiley - yikes

Happy Friday, and thanks for the Glenfiddich.smiley - biggrin

I wondered about the title business myself, MVP.

Handy that Glenfiddich meets the requirements, eh?

I don't think it specifies. But it's such a tight competition that I wouldn't want to give the judges any reason to deduct marks! You could add one in for Stretch porpoises, and then if it makes more sense to remove it before it is picked for the Guide, so be it.

Now, what else is in this week's mini-bar: beer, sherry, and Bacardi Breezers.

It's gone awful quiet round here. Is everyone else quietly polishing their brilliant pieces? In which case, I'm heading for the exit.

Perhaps I'd better lay up the quantities of consoling smiley - tea and smiley - cake now.

Secretly Not Here Any More

I'm snowed under - been put in charge of PR for a new project at work so I'm writing press releases, plus the work blog and Twitter account both need content, plus the actual 9-5 of my job needs to be done..

Oh, and I'm moving house next week. Plenty of time for Stretching!

Well. That was...interesting smiley - erm. It was like being given a huge blank canvas and a wonky brush to paint with. And I was rather pleased with my little stick man until I saw everyone else's glorious technicolour landscapes...

That was certainly difficult. I kept having to scrap sentences because I couldn't find any way to end them with a double-lettered word. Tricky, but fun. I'm off to read the rest of the submissions now.
