Adnams Explorer ABV 4.3%
I tried this for the first time after doing some particularly strenuous DIY on a baking hot afternoon. Straight from the fridge it hit all the right spots. It looks like a lager, perhaps with a bit more colour, this beer is aimed at younger and women drinkers.
I find lagers can be a little bland, too easy to quaff without any real taste to savour. This "blonde beer" has lots of grapefruit and hop flavour that really satisfies the beerbuds. On a day when a lager or a warm beer just wont do it, give this a try.

Whoa, activity. *blinks*
I've not had the Explorer. Adnams have always seemed a little heavy for me. I did have a [swift] half Timothy Taylor's Golden Bitter the other day- very very good. Especially in the searing heat.

very drinkable session beer but not as strong as I'd normally go for; not had it in bottles only on tap

2legs! Good to see you.
My problem is when I think of 'Explorer' I think of a little sprite from Civ II that can move four tiles per turn...
Anyway. Beer. After all the shite that I was attempting to drink last night I'd be glad of a decent pint.
