Well there was me thinking he was partially sighted... the smoke from the fire in the tunnel lead him to thinking the outer door was actually an interior door... as he couldn't see any better...

As for riddles... an easy one...

A spaceship crash lands on a moon of a far off planet unfortunately its hatch is broken, the aliens can only use one word to fix it. How do they do it?? smiley - biggrin
