3) Nope!
4) So close I'll give it to you They were playing chess, when one of the blokes saw a move that would give him checkmate - hence the standing/yelling in triumph. However, while playing he'd subconsiously wrapped one of his legs around a table leg...
In reply to Gif:
1) Yep!
2) Wot? No guess?
3) Nope. Nothing to do with butterflies at all.
4) See (2).

1. I see the answer is Monopoly...
2. He's a train robber, and the police are waiting for him at the end of the tunnel. He'd rather die than be captured.
3. I give.
4. Ok, that's a bit farfetched, but good nonetheless.

1) Glad we got that one cleared up
2) Nope! (NB - that fact that it's an old train is also of some relevance here!)

2. I figured it was, but I can't see how yet. Is the man the conductor, forced to jump by the hijackers in a place where his body won't be found?
3. He's drawing his shadow, and he stops when night falls.

Well there was me thinking he was partially sighted... the smoke from the fire in the tunnel lead him to thinking the outer door was actually an interior door... as he couldn't see any better...
As for riddles... an easy one...
A spaceship crash lands on a moon of a far off planet unfortunately its hatch is broken, the aliens can only use one word to fix it. How do they do it??

RE: post 75
I'm confused. Do these aliens speak English, and can they can fix things by speaking? Or is the word "tools?"

Beegle Posted Aug 10, 2002
Yes conveniently they speak English, as do all aliens???
The clue lies in what they can use to fix it....
That is all my elaboration for now..

Oh go on then....
The idea they can fix something by speaking is not so far fetched but isn't right... as for tools that's completely wrong....
When you get it you'll kick yourself, probably not as hard as i did when i first encountered this little riddle!
