It's curious to me that you have yet to learn that personal abuse if not a legitimate debating tactic."
Having looked back at some of your previous posts, it is curious to ME how you can characterise that overly mild remark - when you were caught outright lying again - as personal abuse. If anyone ought to know what constitutes personal abuse, it's you.
And by the way, why is it ok for you to quote your lawyer making the claim that judges don't believe people making an affirmation but wrong for another researcher to check that with a judge and report back?
In any case, I thought you might be interested in this link:

I think those are sentiments shared by a lot more people than one would suspect.

Against my better judgement, I am answering you, Hooray Henry, because I have a need to educate. (I am a teacher after all...) I doubt you're celver enough to understand, but I believe no one is a hopeless case...

As I've tried to tell Effers, that doesn't mean being a doormat. As a woman, she should appreciate that point.

Blickster, you may have started off working class! (Although I doubt it...) But I've heard somewhere on h2g2 just exactly *why* you're so well acquainted with the law!
The rest of your posting was incomprehensible, to put it mildly. You really shouldn't post when tired and emotional...

For the umpteenth time. I don't tell lies. I won't name those who do, for fear of banning (again - these people have clout! ) but I don't tell lies.
Occasionally I make mistakes. I don't tell lies. If I say it any more often, I'll be modded for spamming. (That was the first I ever knew that *one post*, which consciously copied the style of one by a protected person, what's more!) could be 'declared spam' and that asking for clarification could result in a tonne of bitching and a banning threat!
Yeah, h2g2 is such a lovely place! Frankly, it reminds me of the twilit purgatory in C S Lewis 'The Great Divorce', everyone hates everyone else, and is trying to get one over on them.)
Infinitely sad..

Oh yes, hilariously funny! Typing error, mate, have you never heard of them? (For some idiotic reason, this fairly primitive site hasn't an edit function... Could it be because St DNA would not have heard of such a thing? But let's enter the 21st century even if he didn't..)
Give me a break! Can't you do any better in the abuse race?

Now Vicky I don't want to scare you. But for the first time I'm seriously doubting you are for real.

Actually, Della, I agree with SoRB on this one. I value the lack of an edit function.
And, having recently started posting on a vBulletin board, I can assure you that I far prefer the dna engine.

So, both sudamalu and happykelapa have access to a page at the Jakarta Post website which require a member's log in for the rest of us. Interesting.

Please, everyone, can't we see that Ms. Del LaTroll has pulled us all into her black hole of whingeing and topic derailing?
This time she even advertised her agenda!

Blicky, your post 26780 is somewhat incoherent. Preview in future, perhaps? Especially when interspersing quotes with commentary. And more so when those quotes themselves contain quotes. You need a clear system of annotation.

Sorry Trig...didn't realise that page needed membership. I'll try to find it elsewhere if you like...
By the way...the Jakarta Post is the most widely read English language daily in the region. There are also thousands upon thousands of people who subscribe electronically all over the world. Would you like me to show you how to get your membership access? It's free.
Yes

It's a troll alert. I don't quite see how it could be worded so that it could be much clearer.

I suppose the pros are spontaneity, and making sure a poster is committed, but the cons are many as well... typos drive me completely barking! It shames me that I miss seeing them even when I preview... and the inability to add another thought is another problem...
Both of the other boards I am on regularly have an edit function, and as I am posting on one, in what is my 3rd language, I'd be sunk without it, no matter that I always preview twice and post once...

Not getting in to all of the above as I never join a fight without working out who's ankles it's safe to bite and I really don't think there's enough time in my working day to figure out what this's all about!
Also completely lost my grip on the whole god thing.
I do, however, want a spellchecker please, that'd be
I love having an opinion!

Math quoth
In law, the reason we make an oath is twofold:
1. To make it clear that what we then state in evidence is declared as being truth.
2. To bring home to the witness that theya re expected to tell the truth.
In both cases this then implies that the witness understands that they are expected to tell the truth and that they have no excuse for perjury.
Beyond this... To many people, especially in the pagan community, the taking of an oath is a sacred thing. To break an oath is to offend both the Gods and the community and is considered one of the most serious crimes - on a par with rape and murder.
An oathbreaker is then marked forever as such. All respect and honour is lost, kinship forsworn, debts to the oathbreaker levelled, land and property forfeited to the community.
As you can see perjury carried such a price that few would risk it.
These days lies and deceit are commonplace and the rewards far outweigh the risks. Liars are even feted - such as Jeffrey Archer, Tony Blair and GWB.
This is why I do not trust Christians. Any religion that states as a clear tenet that you must not give your oath has no honour.
Blessings,
Matholwch
This is central to heathenry as well.
Hi folks, I'm back - there was a burglary at my home on Christmas morning, and I am only just back online.
