Nononono, Snape'S not evil! That would be so....predicatable.

Is it predictable that he will be evil, or predictable that it will turn out that he isn't evil.

When is that next book due out? Dang it, I want to know how it ends!!!!

I don't think he is either. He still wouldn't make a very pleasant headmaster though. smiley - smiley

Maybe the Ministry will step in and put somebody they approve of into the school, like they did with Umbridge.

That he's evil - oh look, a guy who looks evil and is - the world doesn'T work like that!

I think Snape would be a great headmaster. He could continue to terrorize and be mean to students. It opens up the possibility of many years of Snape and Harry butting heads...

Speaking of Snape, the movie snape is forever connected in my mind with Galaxy Quest, and it is hard for me to move past that and see him as truly evil.

How about Hermione for headmaster?

I don't think that Hermione is well rounded enough to be headmaster. She's certainly extremely technically proficient, but doesn't show the verve or charisma necessary. She also seems to get wrapped around the axel and I don't know if she would be able to have the flexibility to meet unusual circumstances or quick decisive actions.

Plus, she'd free all the house elves and leave Hogwarts in chaos! smiley - winkeye

lol - that too! But really, why do they need house elves anyways? Dinners magically appear, clean up occurs with the wave of a wand and a magical word or two. Such a life!

yes, but the smiley - magic only transports the dishes to and from the kitchen - the elves do the rest!

Aha... I guess I need to go back and re-read the books. Its been so long since they first came out. My poor brain can only hold and digest so much information.

i got bored of the spoiler page, so i came through here instead.

My theory on Snape is that he IS evil (irredeemably so), but because of a debt to James (& there4, to Harry), he (Snape) has to somehow help Harry.

Speaking of debts, isn't it weird how Wormtail (PP) is staying with Snape in the beginning of HP&tHBP? A collaborated effort in helping Harry, maybe?

Dumbledore, on the other hand, is OBVIOUSLY dead. His portrait is in the headmaster's office. The theory on the plan that DD didn't get to tell his so-called '2nd in command' can STILL be told, because of that portrait!

I STILL wanna know who RAB is, tho.

I'm guessing Sirius' brother, Regulus, due to theories that it was a DE that replaced the locket (the note was addressed to 'the Dark Lord'), & Regulus was mentioned to have left VM and then killed, but it hadn't said why.

Maybe it was because of the horcrux being destroyed by Regulus, or maybe it was just because Regulus left.

Ooh, BTW: I'v got a theory that there'll b an 8th book.

Ok, my 8th-book theory was shot down on another thread (or was it the interview section on the website? whatever...). On a 'lighter' note, there's a rumour that JKRowling sometimes visits these chats to see what her fans think of her work. I'd probably enjoy reading the "everyman's" comments on chat-forums if I had written such a brilliantly controvercial (SP?) work of fiction. Oh, wait... ...I DID!!! About a week ago, I added an entry to the un-edited guide, albeit in the style of the original h2g2 author, Mr. D. Adams (my hero/villain - whichever way you wanna look at it.).

Can you give us a link to it Patches? I'm slow, but anything dealing with logic has got to help, right?

Did I give you the link that you asked for? If not, you'll be able to find it in my PS.
