Wanted -adventurers (bold or otherwise)

Far to the west, on the very borders of the kingdom there is a plateau. It lies at the edge of the might forest, over the Cloudy Mountains and beyond the Perilous Swamp.
On this plateau are the ruins of a great city. Overlooking the ruins are great pyramids, and here legend tells us are kept the secrets of the ancients.
Hang on, I have the strangest feeling of deja vu.

Highness, I'm honoured.
Your presence will add greatly to our venture.
*pulls out miniature slipper*
I had kept your favour for this journey, but with you here also we cannot fail.

Oh no! I have forgotten to bring the Sphinx.
*Returns with the Sphinx*
(The Sphinx turns out to be a playful 3 legged )
*Carefully leashes Sphinx so she may not chase crocodiles. )

I see that Sir Ottox has been lurking again....
I perhaps ought to think about a change in profession while we're on this voyage...

In my capacity as chief of the expedition that led from the dank mouldy dungeon of Balwinity I found that a goodly supply of notebooks and coloured pens are always useful.
