What do you think of "Wolfstone"?

I was wondering what you think of the folk-rock group, "Wolfstone."

I have been a fan of theirs since 1992 when I happened to find one of their albums in my college radio station's music library.
It wasn't getting any airtime because the International Music deejays didn't like Scottish music, so I was able to buy it from them.

Now...I have another of their more recent albums and have found that I love it just as much.

Have you heard of "Wolfstone"? Are other Scottish rock groups doing this same type of thing by taking older folk tunes and putting a more modern beat to them?

I really like "Year of the Dog" but I wasn't that impressed with either of their latest two albums. If you like Wolfstone you might like Shooglenifty, Burach, Caperceilidh, Battlefield Band, Deaf Shepherd - there are many others. No - one is exactly like Wolfstone - they are quite unique but if you look around you're bound to find something else you like. I'll see if Ican find webpages. If you want to buy albums I can give yo the address of the folk music shop I work for but not through this - the H2G2 editors would't like it!

Thank you, Paul. Since I am in the US, I may have to do some hunting high and low for some of those you mentioned.
