Cosmic
I am small and fuzzy.
I live in Scotland which makes me a kilt wearing, ginger haired (and bearded), whisky drinking, deep fried mars bar eating skinflint who will pick a fight with you without asking your name.
I hate sterotypes (see above), haggis, Irn Bru, Flower of Scotland and all of the aforementioned traits that many people think Scottish have.
In reality I’m Chemistry Ph.D student at the University of Edinburgh but I spend the rest of my time masquerading as a traditional musician. I started playing the violin when I was about nine years old. I was classically trained but I eventually gave that up and moved to only playing folk music (my teacher did both, which was and is unique). These days I tend to play music from Scotland, England, Ireland and Canada but I’m fairly open and quite happy to play whatever I find.
I’m also a Christian, a Youth Group Leader and I have a weird circle of other interests including the various works of Douglas Adams, The Rocky Horror Show, The Rolling Stones and Origami.
I hope I don’t bore anyone.
