We do have rather a thing about alcoholic drinks ... even Dragonfly, who sticks to chocmilk ....

Does it kind of help the ambience to speak in a manner appropiate to the drink?

Seth of Rabi Posted Oct 12, 2001
I've heard that if you speak to a drink in an inappropriate manner, it turns sour . Almost as bad as spillage .. except you can still drink it, of course

DRIED EYE OF MUMPLWHUMP??? In MY cauldron???? EEEK!!!
*Rushes back to her cauldron and thinks about what is best to do...*
I could counteract it with three leaves of nightshade, but that would neutralize the effect of the alzarian crimson ground into it. I could leave the mumplewhump alone, and add newt-tongue and swallow-toes. Something thoroughly pickled would help with that...*Regards Linus thoughtfully...*

I always reckon that bat's blood is good for neutralising things like that ... though (as I said last year) you can only get the dried stuff these days ....

I'm an A+...just incase you need a tad more blood. And I really don't mind a bite on the neck now & again.

Sorry I mucked up your potion Mari...but it IS getting to be time for 'tricks &/or treats'!
