When I arrived, the receptionist said i had only just gone out. This means that my brother certainly saw me coming. He will try something - that's for certain. I have booked one of the cottages for me to use (which MK thinks is most strange) - I'm betting brother will notice, and use it. I would rather know where he is ... even if he's a bit close.

Yes - on thinking about it, the CDs are more of a "key" than we may realise.

... yes, the key to the financial aspects... the business... my CD is a sort of key...

You understand the word 'encryption'? What does it mean? There is a whole - big thing - but we can only put it all together with the three CDs, that's what he told me...

OK - that's good enough. Yes - you have the CD that is the key to all the financial data on the other two. All three must be loaded at the same time, so that both halves of the data are there, and they can be de-crypted (like using the key to unlock the room).

Until that, nobody can make any large-scale financial transactions with the trust's money. Obviously, brother planned on having his CD plus the "key" CD ... he must have had an idea for getting my DC ... but I can't work out how. Then he would have been able to break up the trust, and vanish with the assets.

More mineral water?

Well, we know the "how" - if he gets all three disks. There's a harder question: Why? Why would he pay so much? Why not let your family go under and pick up the assets cheaply later on?
