Hi, Jeremy!
A bartender appeared from somewhere. Unfortunately he's not around at the moment.
*puts , , , ,,,, and on the table. Takes a for herself.*
Did you have a long and very unpleasant weekend too?

Hi Hatifnat,
don't ask me about my weekend.
I'm the treasurer(?) of a theater club, and a cash audit is due the next days. Have you ever seen a bookkeeping that was "invented" by some artists and actors?
I was tempted to pray Psalm 109 for those who caused so much work. If someone ever offers you to do the "very honourable" job of a treasurer, just say no.
Hours and hours of sitting at the desk, in front of the computer, digging through mountains of receipts, no time to drop into the h2g2 world
Thanks God I'm through, and that tastes so good!!!

I'm going slightly mad of the bookkeeping invented by our government . I have two "books to keep" and I'm doing this first year. I can't imagine why anybody wants to be a professional bookkeeper.

Spoken from the bottom of my heart, Hatifnat.
On the other hand, if you got your things together and keep everything well organized, it's an easy job.
Be less careful, and you're in hell!

...keep everything organized...
Easy to say! I'm not this kind of person at all. I can easily mess everything up. The best I can do is to put all the recipes and other important papers in one box and not to lose them. It's hard work enough. This must be a very stupid person who wants me to be a treasurer or whatever like this.

"Have you ever seen a bookkeeping that was "invented" by some artists and actors?"
The answer is no, but it can't be much worse than being a treasurer for a guild of journalists... Yup, that's me!
Which brings me to my next subject: Could I have a , a and a - please?

A<pirate, aand a for Pierce the !
Damned the one who invented the bookkeeping at all. A journalist is not made for bookkeeping!
Shouldn't we be celebrating the birthday:

Good morning (day, night, who cares), everybody.
Seem I need to find back to my old bar attending habits after the holidays. Who would like to join in to celebrate some birthdays today?
Shawn Colvin (1958)
Linda Lovelace (1946)
Rod Stewart (1945)
Jim Croce (1943)
Max Roach (1925)
and to remember the following people who passed away?
Howlin' Wolf (1976, aged 65)
Coco Chanel (1971, aged 87)
and by the way,
Mickey Rooney and Ava Gardner got married on this day in 1942 (I guess they aren't married any more ).
Up the !

Add these fine jazz-musicians to the list and we have even more reason to raise a - or 27...
Waymon Reed. Born 1940.
Mike Stern. Born 1954.
PS: To think that Linda is already 55. That's kind of hard to swallow...
pardon me french so to speak

Pierce,
better use a glass when you drink to the health of Linda. Don't take the bottle or a straw, this might be kind of, ahem, 'inappropriate'.
