2800 was 3 weeks ago. I doubt in reaching 3000 so soon. Especially if you are leaving us for some days. But we can try of course.

I say go for it! We already made this thread the longest in h2g2-history. Let's keep it that way!
Todays jazz-birthdays: Wilbur de Paris. Born 1900. Tab Smith. Born 1909.
And my grandma would have been 92 today had she not passed away a year ago. She was a kind old woman who never got the life she deserved. Its is comforting to know she does not suffer any more.
Could I have a with rum too, please?
What's wrong with your pc, Hati?

Post 3000 - 98:
We should give it a try. The bar has been a little empty due to the holidays, I think. This should change soon!

3000-92 and counting... Pierce, would you like to have a look at http://www.h2g2.com/F48874?thread=97451 , and maybe, drop a message there (only if you think it's worth it), just to bring it back to the top in the Peer Review? I'd offer another round of PGGBs for that favour ... J

We have a holiday on Feb 24th but this year it happens to be saturday, so no luck at all. By this time we reach 3500, I suppose.
So one PGGB for me. I don't like waiting but I promise I won't make 90 postings in 2 minutes.

It has been so s...........l...........o............w for last 3-4 hours that I could make only 2 messages in an hour or so. I hate it. All the other servers are OK only h2g2...
It makes me angry - I hate waiting.

Okay, Jeremy, been there, done that - now, keep them PGGB's a'comin'!
You are right, Hati: Sometimes h2g2 is VERY slow - even though I am privileged with a VERY fast puter at my work. I have the nasty feeling that it all started with the new smilies. I hope I'm not right - since I've grown rather accustomed to my "own":

Thanks, Pierce, have some drinks!
What was the bribe for tptb for your very own smiley? If we can afford it, we should 'order' at least a decent PGGB smiley, shouldn't we?
