I knew that would work There's a very nice article in F1 News this week, he looks very respectable in his Oxford blue...
Oh and did I mention I was told which is his favourite bar in Oxford

*wonders if this is a bad basis to plan an entire H2G2 meet up around*

Right, so, the whole reason for having the meet-up in Oxford is that Jenson Button might be there.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm......

Aren't there other places where famous people might turn up?

Hey, I've already got my bags packed
Anyway there are many other famous people we could go and visit if you like...f'rinstance Eddie Irvine has a house in Oxford so possibly there would be a good place to go...or as Chelsea Clinton will be studying in Oxford we could go there...or maybe as Eddie Jordan spends a lot of time in Oxford we could go there too...and then there's Jensons Dad who also lives in Oxford and possibly ummm...Jenson Button who did I mention lives in Oxford...by the way did I state that I WANNA GO TO OXFORD
*adopts nonchalant face*
But hey I'm not fussed

That was my second choice
I don't think it'd be that easy to get to on the bus though...
Anyway whilst most of the drivers live in Monaco the only ones I'd really really want to meet (admittedly meeting any of them would and has sent me a bit strange for a while) are Jenson, Eddie, Jacques, Wurz, Ralf and Schumi. Schumi and Jenson don't live in Monaco (I believe Jenson may live near Oxford ) Eddie lives on the Anaconda, Jacques does live there but last time I saw him, admittedly without his beard, I went very strange and started shaking (I apologise but he is my all time favourite) and I doubt you'd want me fainting on you and finally Wurz and Ralf possibly live there and possibly don't but either way Jenson would still be in Oxford

I still say Birmingham. Oxford means (for me) a bus there and a train home (the 300 bus from Oxford to GX stops at 6pm or so)
How far from the station will we be (ie can I make a drunken crawl there)

It's the button you press to attract people who fancy young F1 drivers.
