Hi Lanza . It's also worth iterating the point I made in Post 1 that my motivation for updating this Entry was comments by littlebluemountain in the Discussion Thread of the original that Preseli was not the source of the bluestones. The evidence that it was is IMO overwhelming!

This looks good to me, i'm afraid that I'm not an expert on the stonehenge, and can only appreciate the entry and update, rather than help it be written since grammar and spelling seem to be fine

This was an interesting read, and looks fine to me. Hope it's not completely forgotten for the publishing process..

Now that we have a new system of sending updates to sub-editors, we may be able to do something with this update. But I've completely forgotten anything I knew on the subject.

Well, the parts highlighted in green are my suggested additions/modifications to the original Entry, of which Gnomon was the main author. Hence, really, it's only those bits that need to be critiqued. .
As I keep saying, part of my original motivation for this re-write was to counter an assertion (by bluebottle, if I recall correctly) that the Preseli Mountains were not the original source of the bluestones.

It was littlebluemountain who made this assertion.

After almost 4 years, how is this getting on?
It seems to have stalled awaiting Gnomon's approval, who says in post 87 that he has forgotten a lot of his knowledge on the subject.
I find it easy to differentiate between new and old sections easily enough, and although I agree that some of it could be rephrased (and I prefer the original opening, and personally would move the new opening sentence to the end of the first paragraph, but that's just my opinion and can be disregarded)

I'd like the insertion of &nbsp; after the 5th footnote (although it wouldn't need to be there when the goes.

I know he has posted within the last 4 weeks and so hasn't ed, but I do wonder whether this is a dead thread, or is this article still being worked on?
Big Al, are you still working on this and addressing any outstanding issues?

(Incidentally, according to Isle of Wight folklore, the stones for Stonehenge were taken by boat into Brading Haven and set up on Arreton Down before being then moved to Salisbury)
