six7's turn to splash around

LOL. I'm sure when the sun comes up down under six7s will be pleased to hear of his victory. It was after all the Aussies what invented the Australian crawl as the preferred swimming style. A stroke of genius all round!

Aha! All of these are arcane terms used in the novels of Anthony Burgess to describe the anus. All except for the Silver Penguin, which is a 'certain appliance' that the Weddell keeps at the very bottom of her handbag.
...or am I a bit off the mark here?

You are definitely on the right track Dr St J
So much so that I think it's fair to say you've got it
All of the other words are *prime rhymes* ... a subject of some debate within certain / circles...
See the exceedingly long post near the bottom of http://www.guardian.co.uk/notesandqueries/query/0,5753,-18524,00.html
or then again, don't

I think I've uncovered the way to get the right answers in this thread then - don't try! My 'guess' was only meant as a comment... but I guess I got lucky
So... your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to find the odd one out (with a reason please!) from this list:

E50AN500
100AME50

The odd one out is 'BU5050'. This is British aircraft registration mark, and collecting it will only get you funny looks. The others are from Greek aeroplanes and writing them down will get you 12 years

Dinah Shore - the only one without a double letter in either name.

Well spotted some bloke, although this was not what I had in mind ...
My criteria is something rather more unusual

Okay, how about Alessandro Farnese because there are no award ceremonies he can win.
An oddity
six7s Posted Aug 15, 2002
Unfortunately, SeƱor Rossini is unable to attend tonight's ceremony as he has been busy decomposing in Passy [near Paris] since the 13th of November 1868
OK, I acknowledge that Rossini could receive an award posthumously, but that ain't it
