*Mari-rae sends a note via her useful niece.*
Hello Kasia,
I know that you are still unpacking and getting moved in, so I didn't want to bother you with a visitor just yet. I am so glad that you chose this property to be your Rainbow Cottage. I have always liked this house!
Best of luck with it, and I'll pop by soon.
Yours,
Mari-rae

Mari-Rae, thanks for your welcoming words.
I think, that I will sort out things at the Rainbow Cottage during this weekend. I started already with the most important thing for a lazy old lady: a maid. Her name is Mathilda, she is about 50 years old and just perfect! She will be running my sweet home, so that I will have more time for friends, poping in and for taking care of the Crossed Purposes.
Would you like to join for a cup of tea/coffee and a homemade apple cake - it's the specialite de la maison (not sure, if I spelled it correct, sorry no French knowledge at all ).
You know what? I found in the Internet another cottage paintings - maybe we could use them for the other Village de la Vavoom inhabitants if there will be the need.
There I also found a picture of a cute verandah, which I'd love to add to my Rainbow Cottage. But I'm not sure, if I can manage. Could you please help me out once again, Mari-Rae?
The adress is: http://www.webshots.com/search/search.fcgi?search_engine=1&words=cottage+psintingd&new=1&ws=1&cl=1
This looks a bit suspicious, so I need once more you help.
See you soon - Kasia

Sorry, Kasia, but that link didn't work. Try again?
Mathilda sounds like quite the find! I have a useful niece helping me. Her name is Phillpa.

Well, as I told you, Mari-Rae, it looks suspicious.
Maybe you should try just: http://www.webshots.com and then write in the search engine cottage paintings.
But I still don't know how to copy and paste them!
Have a nice day.

I think I found your veranda! Here is the programming that you need to make the picture come up on your page:
To copy this programming highlight the text by placing the cursor at the very beginning of the text, hold your left mouse button down and drag the mouse downwards. Next put your cursor on top of the highlighted text and click the right hand button on your mouse. Click copy. Now the text is stored for you. Open the editing for Rainbow Cottage. Decide where you would like the veranda picture to show up. Put your cursor to the place in the programming where you'd like it to go and click the mouse's right hand button again. Click paste. Let me know if it works!
I love all the cottage paintings on Webshots! I changed Someday Cottage to one that I found there. Thanks!!

WOW!
This IS my verandah, you know.
But tell me, Mari-Rae, is it possible to make this picture a little bit bigger? It is so wonderful, that I would like to have it more present at the page.
I added a little bit text and now I'll be setting also the Crossed Purposes space. Probably with only few words at the begining. I would like to add also a picture of the pub. I was searching, didn't find anything till now, though. Any ideas?

hihihi!
Mari-Rae, thanks, but... now the Verandah is too big, LOL!!!
Sorry about bothering you - could it just be normal size, so that the space could be viewed without scrolling from left to right? If not, then I prefer rather the small version.

Mari-Rae - it's perfect know!
I will add links to Village de la Vavoom and the inhabitants.
And of course your link as the creator of the pictures, okay?
Thanks

*ding dong - doorbell!*
*Phillipa, Mari-rae's useful niece has a note for Kasia.*
Dear Kasia,
Thank you so very much for the apple cake, and the plant. I love the pot it's in too! Lovely! The cake looks delicious. I hid it away and will have a big slice after dinner tonight. Does the yuka (yucca?) like full sun and moderate watering?
Thank you also for the invitation to the Purple Pool Party. I admit I am curious to see a Purple Pool.
A new Beauty Shoppe will be opening soon in town. They say the proprietress is an absolute angel! Lady C is at home too now, at her Riverside Cottage. Her address is A415117.
Your friend,
Mari-rae

Phillipa, Mari-rae's useful niece, is at the door with a Welcome Basket overflowing with goodies. There are chocolates, assorted teas, cookies, bath salts, coupons for local businesses, and a note that says WELCOME in shaky, but legible calligraphy.*

Oh, may, this is nice.
Phillipa, thank you so much, would you like to have a cup of tea?
*Kasia looks inside the basket*
Oh, this teas look just good, and they smell fantastic.
Kasia sits at her new secretary and writes a small note to Mari-Rae*
Dear Mari-Rae,
thank you very much for the welcoming basket. Today in the ev I will try the bath salts; BTW: how did you guess, that I have quite an obsession on them?
The RL catched me at a very sad reason - my best friend's Mom died at Saturday on cancor, so I helped out to sort things out. Tomorrow is the funeral...
So I suppose, I would have more time after this sad ceremony.
I'm still waiting for your visit.
Your friend - Kasia
*Kasia gives the note to Phillipa*
Phillipa, could you give this to your aunt? Thanks a lot.

Welcome Arutha,
oh, this is really a great one - I love Dom Perignon!
Make yourself comfortable - maybe at the verandah, because the weather is just nice to sit outside, don't you think?
*Kasia heads to the kitchen and takes some icecubes from the fridge, puts them in a special champagne pot, puts the bottle in it and armed with 2 champagne Y goes out on the verandah*
So, you like my place, Arutha? I just moved in, so I'm still decorating it, but the garden and the verandah are ready.
How is it going with choosing your angel name? Any progress?

Goodnight( as it is right now)
yes I really like your place, Think maybe we should move the verrandah forum up here, caus it's so beautiful.
NO I'm afraid I didn't make any progress with my angel name, I did however made sure that my name was dropped once or twice with the almighty figure so that's prob. progress.

G'morning (as it's 5.30 a.m. at my place - can't sleep, so I'm early today, well, half an hour earlier, then usual - normally I wake up at 6 a.m. IRL <sigh - life is brutal, eh?>.
If you need some references for the Guardian Angels, Arutha, you can count on me.
Hey, listen, I'll be opening a pub in the Village - The Crossed Purposes. Maybe you would like to help me with this - I'm looking for staff. If yes, then go to the Job centre.
Okay, RL's calling; will be back later - make yourself comfty till then.
BTW: I have a guest room in the Rainbow Cottage - from the verandah you need to go back to the living room and passing it turn left, second door right and there you are.
