Hello, it's me again (you're going to get sick of me, in the end), I'm cold, they didn't give me the 5* Hotel like they promised ;-( so do you mind if I warm up by this fire, it'll give me a chance to get to know your characters

And you are stuck with me again...warm up! Have another ! I figure even if I have had no significant tribal bonding at least I've met quite a crew of interesting characters.

And in the end, isn't that why we're all here?
*sees an oppertunity and reaches for notebook

G.B. surveys the sleeping forms & smiles. Decides all is well here & decides to head back to the Jetty for some much needed rest.

* The night upon the hilltop passes with ravaging winds belting the fragile shelter... *

* Nothing has prepared Ox for this kind of extreme predicament, emotionally he might even bear the scars... *

* At around 2 a.m the entire roof is ripped off and disappears into the night, including the cargo netting which underpinned it... *

* Ox huddles even closer to the remaining rocks trying to stave off the elements until morning offers some relief ... *

*tramps up to the remains of the shelter after having spent the night in the lee of some rocks covered in palm leaves*
Phew, what a night...I could do with a bath. Guess its time to sort out a strong shelter.
This part of the island is no use for temporary covers.
*beckons to ox*
Come on down to the tribe base, young Kes has been working hard and has moved our stuff to a more sheltered spot.

*to eatsmice* You must be feeling fairly gutted by the shelter's short life, would you like to comment?

*padding back from seeing ox in Deep water, eats comes across WR*
Sorry WR I'd already gone to the camp earlier.
And no...its only the fish on this island that get gutted.
Tyhe answer is to look forward and upward. Look back only to learn, never to mourn what might have been, for in that direction lies sorrow and disheartenment.

Kiddo: I haven't been here before. Oh, hi. I was just wandering around the island, practicing with my slingshot.

Kiddo: No, not yet. But I'm getting a little better.

*arrives carrying the 'planes machine gun, a long length of vine and half a dozen rounds*
I'm not betting on this thing working, hence the quiet location.

*catches up to eats, having stopped to ask Dan about his plan*
C'mon, lets test this bad boy!
*grins maniacally*

*The machine gun rests on a small tripod of branches. Eats inserts a single round into the feed chamber and works the cocking mechanism*
Right, time to rock and roll

*ties end of vine to firing lever and unrolls the vine some 20ft back to the remains of ox's first shelter*

*The gun is carefully aimed out to sea. Eats ducks down behind shelter, pulling Tweetie down beside him and pulls on the vine*

*silence......................*

*Tweetie starts to rise to see and is pulled back down*

*BOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!*

*The noise echoes around the hilltops, seagulls rise from trees alll over the island*

Hmmmm, it was supposed to go BANG ?

*eats peers over the logs................*

*A whistling noise makes him look up.....*

*Wheeeeeeeschtunk.....embedded 6 inches in front of his nose is a foot long length of gun barrel*

That'll be the end of that then.....didn't think it was gonna work out

*5 miles out to sea an albatros is startled by a ripping noise that strangely coincides with the loss of one of its tailfeathers*

*Below, a fisherman, looking up and blessing his good fortune in seeing the huge graceful bird, gets a faceload of brown matter*
