G'day folks.

Just back from a trip to NZ for a christening.

I sort of just left this piece sitting around for a while, as the fantastic amount of input was much appreciated, but I had to get on with some other stuff (like work).

Really, I would throw the question back - "is anything else needed?"

I am inclined to call it complete, but then that's what peer review is for.

If there is anything specific missing which is preventing entry to the Edited Guide, I will glady do some extra work, but not too much - see the previous discussions regarding quantity vs quality.

Hope to hear back from you soon!

Hi there JT!

I do love the piece, and especially the quotes. I might suggest revisiting the concept of "fish, through birds to monkeys" as it reads like an evolutionary trail. If you don't mean it as a progression of steps, a minor rewrite will fix it.

The fish to monkeys link may be said to be euphamistically valid, but the birds would not come into this path.

Good luck with an Extremitively nice entry!

Thanks FT

Maybe a quick read-up on Darwin and a small re-write, then I'll re-submit.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!

I was about to see if it needed further revision to get noticed again.

Now I'll have to start writing some more stuff and try for a nice new badge!
