h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Would anyone know why I'd get an error message in the code for a drop-down box that says: "Whitespace is not allowed at this location"? I've been trying to update My Space with the new Thingite list, and I just can't do it because of this error message! Other people said they didn't have a problem using the menu, so I don't think it's that. When I try to edit around the error message, it just moves it to a different place on the list here's what the line of code looks like (with the error message):

261. Eris - Thingite Goddess (And The 1st Thingite Baby!!Whitespace is not allowed at this location. !)

Any suggestions?

the error could be earlier in the guide code - it often appears a few lines later for some reason. could you paste a bit more up so we can get a full look?

Well, there's nothing wrong right there. Probably a few lines before that.

It usually means you've forgotten to put a space between the end-quotes of one thing in a tag and the name of the next thing, eg:



instead of

It seemed to work before ... the line of code that's giving me problems is already on my page! And it works just fine here: A516647

Well, it's fixed now. I just did a copy and paste on the new lines individually, and it worked, where it wouldn't when I copy and pasted the block. Go figure.
