(Picks up biscuit box, and puts it into his big ol' backpack. Thanks, Elfrida! He then pulls out a freeze dried food pouch, and starts to make himself dinner. it looks like beef stew...)
*The woods whisper as wind goes through the pine trees... it sounds much like the sea shore... but nicer, kind of*

(The fire snaps and crackles [welcome to ultra super forum time extension] and the river nearby gurgles as redfox boils water to make a quick freeze-dried stew. The stars are just coming out, the fire beats back the cold and throws light on the small site. The wind whispers through pines and lays another wonderful scent to the forest air.)
I am a Michigander and am reminiscing about camping in the state, usually around early fall
(The water boils, Redfox adds the stew mix. he sets it aside while it hydrates)
anyone for a stew?

I try. It's a lot like a place I camped in my home state. It was a 10 mile trail next to The Manistee River. We camped apx. 10 feet from the river (about 2 1/2 meters). It was one of the most beautiful places that I've ever been. Totally worth the 5 mile hike to the site.
Anyway, after I eat, I'll get out my travel guitar and wheedle away the night. you're free to stay if you like.

If I made my tent here more like camping at home, there would be an awful lot of insects and poison ivy.
I'd like to stay for a few songs.
