The Wales v Fiji score was 58-14, bit of a whitewash really, but really good news for all the Welsh guys out here. You can hear the drunken Welshmen from here! Had a really good day watching rugby all day, watched the Ireland/Australia game and then the Welsh game and I have thew highlights of the England/NZ game to watch later (poor Kiwis...smiley - sadface, well I heard they played well, but still). So crack open a couple more smiley - ale, I say! And a smiley - tea for evangeline. Anyone for smiley - cake, I'm getting a bit peckish.

Oooh, how was the Harry Potter film? I want to see it but we have only one screen here and they're booked out for the next week! smiley - sadface

It was fun. They change a whole load of details from the book, and add in a bit of amusing dialogue, but on it's own merits I thought it held together well.
smiley - cake? I'm on cookies at the moment.

Sorry, only have cake in at the moment. Havn't been to the shops for a while. Man can lie by cake alone smiley - biggrin

*feels a bit remiss as a hostess though*

Is it very different from the book? It would be a shame if it's too different. Can't wait to see it though, and films are always different from the books so you kind of have to expect it really.

It wasn't _that_ different, but they felt no constraint over the exact wording of the dialogue.
I thought that Moaning Myrtle wasn't quite repellent enough.

Glad to hear it sounds good tho, just a shame I have to wait so long to go and see it, but that's Aberystwyth for you, not exactly the hub of the Universe.

*gets distracted by a fireworks display on the beach IRL*

Ooohh, pretty! Was there a fireworks display on the campsite on Bonfire Night, or a bonfire? The one in Aber got cancelled cos they wouldn't organise it because of the fireman's strike that never happened smiley - grr

Ahhh, well make sure you use lots of chest rub and drink lots of hot toddies, that's rum, honey, lemon, topped up with hot water. Really good for warming you up from the inside and soothing any cough.

*prepares a flask of toddy and pops over to Miss Typo's tent*

Hmm, maybe I should make some of that soup...it usually cures whatever ails us.

So people, question time,
Who is the greatest Lord,
Lord of the rings,
Lord of the flies, or
Lord of the dance?

I always quite liked Little Lord Fauntelroy when I was a kid, or does he not count?

Otherwise I definitely prefer The Hobbit to Riverdance smiley - winkeye

Bbs, Galen.
I meant to see Alan Partridge, but I missed it. I can't remember why, but it was a very good reason.
