interesting response.. "Smeg Off" Meanwhile my Russian lessons have slowed down.. due to limited time and w*rk. Spring cleaning.. my Russian appartment includes a friendly lady who comes to clean a few times a week. All I do is get up in the morning, shower, dress and get out.. Now there's my own house in the Netherlands... well.. yesssssssssssssss... six hours Red Dwarf tape eh??

At first, I tried to be nice..."No thanks, not interested." They would badger with "And, can I ask why?" Which only makes me angrily reply "Well, NO!". Then I tried just hanging up... they would call again and again. Finally, it reached the point of "Who are YOU?!!!, WHAT are you selling? NO! and DON'T call again EVER!!!" It's a great way to vent, but still.
There is a drawer full of six hour tapes: Red Dwarf, Star Trek, The Simpsons and various movies... There are even some Bugs Bunny marathons in there too. The dvd collection is still a bit small.

.. I often react like that.. few months ago there was this very shy woman on the phone, asking if she please could ask me about ..... so we had a great conversation.. I knew all the answers so I asked what the prize was ... well, nothing but we had a good series of laughs
Usually it's about finances (), mortages () or buying tropical forests ()
Bugs Bunny! .. I got caught last week wearing my Daffy Duck socks to a -rather serious- meeting (3piece suit, white shirt, tie).. I usually do that but colleague's wife said I shouldn't

I'd almost bet that tropical forest was in the middle of a desert.
Why not Daffy Duck socks? Several men around here wear Tabasco ties with three piece suits. I have seen those ties at banks, restaurants, and the symphony. What's the point of working so hard to earn money if you can't have a sense of humor about it?
Have you seen the Mardi Gras parade at the Campsite?

I have Snoopy socks and Goofy(the dog) socks. I even have a pair of Bugs Bunny slipper socks(with rabbit foot prints on the bottom).
Granted, I'm not very serious most of the time.

Ah, but I am always serious.. no.. let's rephrase that.. I am always expected to be serious.. no.. sorry.. some of my colleagues are serious every once in a while
Well.. let's be serious for a change.. I get annoyed by all these dombos with too expensive suits, ties, acting serious and all the while just talking
so I have Disney socks .. just to remind me not to be too serious

Dignified leather band, gold bezel, picture of Snoopy and the words Super Beagle in a real dignified font...

Can't remember, and that's going to bug me for a while...
The same friend has a dignified Snoopy watch that plays music (Linus and Lucy)...

I'm ok, same house, same job, same brothers.
Trying to breathe a bit more life into the campsite. I'm talking to someone about a campsite crawl possibly in a week or two. would you be interested in such an event?
