around the tipis frame...by some miracle, the two sides meet up exactly at the door.*

*places small ladder against door pole and starts to lace the two
sides together from beneath the smoke flaps, down to the door opening*

*selects two less substantial poles with rounded ends,and puts them
in the pockets of the smoke-flaps*

*alec emerges from the VW bus with a buckskin bag, in which are several smooth stones, all about 1" (ok:25mm) diameter and lots of .*

*then he goes inside the tipi, and pushes the poles outward, to
tighten the cover.(not too tight)*

*now from the outside again, he reaches under the cover, places a
stone on the inside of the canvas about six inches from the edge, wraps a length of rawhide around it from the outside,(like wrapping a lollipop) bangs a peg into the ground, and ties it down.
...this he does all the way around till the tipi is fastened down.*

*alec then drives a 6ft stake into the ground in front of the door,
to which he ties the ropes from the bottom of the smoke flaps.*

*running back to the VW bus, he emerges carrying the door flap,
heavily beaded with the design of a bolt of lightning...this he
fastens to the lowest pin in the seam over the door.*

hey...these are comfy tho.

they are specially designed to be the most comfortable chair there is. you know, it is almost like the blood of the zaphodistas, how it is surrounded by a SEP field. maybe.

i forget what it stands for, but it may appear to be plain while actually be the grandest, most majestic, most comfortable armchair
