Let's see...Between the Tropical storms and the hurricane there has been a bit of excitement here. But, no bad news. Our area has had two whole days of weather that might be considered Autumn like. It is still hot here most of the day. Saturday we went to a concert. And, that is about it for news here. Anyone else?

Hi Bob!
The hurricane hit New Iberia and New Orleans harder than it hit us(Baton Rouge is farther inland). How was the shopping?
The concert(Paul McCartney in New Orleans) was great.

I bought three CD albums, three books (including a signed Neil Gaiman!) and ordered another book, exchanged my concert/tour reciepts for the actual tickets, and finally bought myself a whisk and some gloves to ward off the autumn chill. Oh, yes, I also got Baskin & Robbins. Very seasonal.
Why does this need taking over?

. Books and cds: a couple of my favorite things(chocolate would be the other). A whisk, does that mean you cook?
Frankie Roberto is resigning as Campsite Manager. Someone is needed as a replacement so the Happy Camper list can be updated regularly. Otherwise, without events(like the parade and pub crawl) these conversations will either stagnate/die or become less like the Campsite and more like all the other conversations.

You sort of have to cross your eyes, or squint, or something to blurr up a bit, but when you've seen it once it's much easier. Nice float!
