*the drone arrives, only a little late, and apologises for the reterded arrival of Red Dog's refreshments. It cites the excuse that someone used it as a table and put a Tom Clancy book on top of it, and it's spent the intermediating time climbing back up through all of the decks of the GSV that it plummetted through*

*a slightly heavier-duty drone silently slides through the air towards the hole, already being repaired by maintenance drones, and zooms down to retrieve the book*
*after another drone's erected a heavy-lifting rig above the hole, the book is carefully placed on a reading lectern by the hole, and all the drones disappear, the hole fixed and everything back to normal*
