Oh, by the by, is there any way to make my page load up ONLY in Goo or is the only option the button?

In the beginning...there was GOO and it was GOOd! Then the almighty looked down and said unto the researchers, "You must have free will my children and temptations that may stray you from the path of right and GOOdness." And lo Alabaster was cast down out of the heavens to bleach out the land...

Actually, Lost in Scotland, you just gave Drool the code to link to _your_ home page! :-) Drool: Since you don't have anything else but text on your home page right now, I'm going to give you the code to do it in GuideML. When you're in your Edit Guide Entry for your home page, below the window, click in the little button that says 'GuideML' and then click on 'change type' Then paste one of the following bits of code in the window wherever you'd like it (just make sure you leave the

You must have sorted it out, Drool, 'cause it's looking fine now. You've got the image and the link working on your page.
Another little tip. If you want to make your text look a little nicer on your page, use the paragraph tag to keep it from running together or running up to the header, etc.
This is how it works:
This is the text on your home page, etc., etc that you have typed in.
This is the next paragraph of text.
Always make sure you use before the paragraph and after it (if you forget the ending one, for example, it won't work right) and always use a capital P for consistency.
If you want more GuideML tips, you can find some here:

(or you can just ask me )
Or for a host of links to on GuideML, forums, the world of h2g2, etc., I have a Quick Reference Guide http://www.h2g2.com/A344756

Hello to Peet and Shadow, I have added you to the list. Sorry for the delay, I was on holiday, then I got back and couldn't summon up any energy until today.

The idea of a Goo t-shirt is one I like. A blue t-shirt with the Goo border (except for the ad banner, of course). I can say that that would help us quite a bit to find each other at H2G2 get-togethers. Unless the get-together is crowded by a load of Alabaster people, in which case they wouldn't recognise us anyways....

Somebody get to work on it right away!
It would make us easier to find at get togethers. When's the next one? I missed the last one as I forgot.

Hey, what does it mean too far away?! I suppose, Mina, you are living also in the UK? What shall I say? For ME it's quite far (Warsaw), but the main problem is, that I don't have anymore vacation this year. But, if there will be a meeting next year, I will come. You all (mostly, I suppose) have no idea, what a relief this is, that I don't need visas anymore or that I have my passport at home, like the rest of the normal world (okay, there is Cuba, of course). Small things? Well, it depends of where you stay.

Well, thanks Shadow.
Allthough I got used to it since 1989 I still got in a better mood, when I realise 'what wonderful life it is'.

Mina, I'm sure that there'll be another researcher's get-together somewhere down in England at one time or another in the future.
Kasia, I'll be looking foward to seeing you at a get-together in the future. Always nice to meet your neighbours.

I feel bad now for complaining that it's too far, at least I am in the same country.
