I watched Bagpuss on the TV for the first time this morning... and may I say what a fantastic show you have

Too kind, though that was a long time ago. Now all you have to do is find an episode of the Clangers to watch.

Hmm, they don't seem to show the Clangers on any of the channels we get here.
They do show Rex the Runt, and Duckman, which keep me happy.

Most children's programmes don't start at midnight

The Magic Roundabout does. In fact, they only show that at night. I presume it's because the nocturnal gremlins in our kitchen like watching it.

Plus all those "oddly" behaved characters

It's on in the mornings as well, it varies with the Smurfs

The morning is too early to watch tele. Except on Saturdays when I'm still in at eleven, so I can watch SM:tv live.

I think any time of day is the wrong time to watch TV - I very rarely watch any now...
