Having struggled through 118 stations so far (abandoned ones not included), I've just discovered that w*kipedia have started a project to sort out their tube articles. The fact that they started three months ago as opposed to December 2004 means they're probably a bit behind h2g2, but I think it might be time to consolidate our lead...
Contributions, please, for *any* of the stations in the following:
Bakerloo line - A3662390
Central line - A3660842A8220034
District line - A3661373A3661382
Hammersmith & City - A3661355
Jubilee - A3660833
Metropolitan - A3662480
Credits on the third most overambitious h2g2 project of all time are up for grabs.
Alex

I think I've given you everything I know (you've already covered 'my' lines), but good luck with the rest of the project

I didn't realise it was possible to miss London - but then I haven't left yet.

Hmm. I miss that cosmopolitan-ness of London. And the ability to invent your own city just by taking your pick of everything that's out there, rather than being forced to work within the confines of what you've got locally...
Somerset's a strange place to be for a single 31 year-old... You're from Norfolk - what's it like there? Does everyone that doesn't leave and go to University end up mating and/or pairing off before they hit 25?

Feel free to use as much or as little as you like:
Jubilee (need any help with the history?)
Stanmore - part of the Metropolitan Railway extension from Wembley Park that later became part of the Bakerloo Line before being adopted by the Jubilee Line. Opened in 1932, it was designed by architect Charles W Clark in a traditional building style (to fit in with the relatively rural (for a suburb) surroundings of the extension) using red brick walls, a central gable over the station entrance, dormer windows and a tiled roof with chimney stacks. The booking office was decorated with cream and dark turquoise tiles. Either side of the entrance were shops.
Canons Park - another of Clark's designes, though more modernistic than the others on the extension, it had a canpoy abve the entrance, a flatter roof, a horizontal stripes picked put in a contrasting brick colour running around the first storey of the building.
Willesden Green - rebuilt in 1925 to Clark's designs, the frontage was typical of the Metropolitan Railway at the time: light brown faience (tin-glazed earthenware) was used to simulate stonework, with the company name and station in green lettering in a frieze across the front. Green and blue mosaic tiles covered much of the station interiors.
Will see what I can find on the other lines in the next few days.
I hope?!

I've put those in place and will fit them in with other stuff when I find the time. I was evenutally planning on adding the history, but it hasn't been at the top of the list of things to do.

Oh nuts - forgot to ask:
"Jubilee (need any help with the history?)"
Any chance you could write one, pretty please?

Have added what I can remember of the Central Line - used to commute from Manor House to White City, so there's a bit there...

Take your time, Rockhound - I'm sure I won't have finished the project in the next week.
Have added those, Six.
