Oh bollo, it's noon on Saturday and I've forgotten again.
May I be granted about 10 minutes leeway on account of my inherent crapness at this game?

This came across as a nervy week somehow. Everyone huddling under the protective wing of a Sunderland victory, and then not sure quite how to proceed beyond that. As a result, there were remarkably few points won for the last three games in the list.
Anyway, apart obviously from a near total end to Sheffield United's chances of making it to the playoffs, what else happened this week?
Well, Ormy has had a transfer up to Tyneside, and the chasing pack has closed him right down. Bottletop is now tied with him for the lead.
Master B had another great week. His 10 points (including a full house) places him in a tie for this week's winner.
Demon Drawer's quickly slapped down answers as he was on his way out to stuff more leaflets in letterboxes has done him no harm either; and he moves up the table a bit.
So to the winners this week. Tied, as I said before, on 10 points are our three winners - Bottletop, Demon Drawer and Master B. Well done chaps

I'm beginning to realise that, thank you
Three times I've chosen a SheffU match this season. Twice you've said it would be a draw, and twice you've hit a full house as a result

'A transfer up to Tyneside'? Your wit has gone over my head there there, GD.
Anyway, to B, Bottletop and my esteemed Lib Dem colleague DD on a fine performance. I'm kicking myself for picking Brentford to beat Udders Feeled. A bit of wishful thinking crept in there, I think, as I'm still hoping for my Bradford boys to finish above their neighbours.
This week I shall be unsentimental, rigorous and determined.

More of the same next season please.
By the by, I've enjoyed the little bonus point thingies. They've helped to maintain my interest when other competitors were getting a little bit _too_ competitive. Good idea.

"A transfer up to Tyneside'? huh Your wit has gone over my head there there, GD. "
I think it means you're shortly going to belt seven shades of hell out of one of your teammates.

'A transfer up to Tyneside' is when you blow a massive points lead right at the end of the season, obviously

Hey, do I get a bonus point for my red-and-white connection, or what?
(anything to excuse a rather terrible set of predictions)

Yes you did. I just forgot to annotate the list of how everyone got their points with the message that you'd been awarded an extra one for the connection.
