How do you think they'll maneuver the bench onto the pitch for Owen to score?

Ormy - your link backs up your point, but when Owen has rarely scored when he's been rewarded for a scoring performance as a subsitute with a start in the next game. I think that might even have been the first time.
By the way, am I the only one to think that the Guardian column on Mondays - "Habla Espanol? Con Jonathan Woodgate" - is genius?

I stopped buying the Grauniad during the week. I found that I never had time to read it.
And nowadays of course, I don't have the money to buy it

There's alway s the library GD.
I read a report that Luxemburgo might consider starting Owen insteal of Raul because of his high goal scoring ratio from the bench.

Is it just me being a sad (fortunately lapsed at the moment) CM01/02 geek that made me say "Oh, THAT'S where Rick Hoogendorp's playing at the moment" when I looked at the Waalwijk website?

Anyone with a name like Hoogendorp has got to be taken seriously.

GreyDesk Posted Mar 6, 2005
A couple of very big scores this week, with one player starting a serious march up the table, and another relaunching his bid for the title
I deem this week to have been a success. Good solid performances from many of the 16 who turned up to play. There was one abject failure however, Master B is our UKIP candidate for the competition - he knows nothing of Europe, and cares even less.
So to our winners. Ormondroyd, your 14 points from five games is one of, if not the, highest score not to win a round. The honour of winner this week goes to todd_abraham87 with a stunning 16 points

The Results:
Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 Nantes (PAULETA)
Bayern Munich 1-0 Werder Bremen (BALLACK)
RKC Waalwijk 2-2 FC Utrecht (HOOGENDORP, Mols, Douglas, Vermaelen)
