Ok then...hi guys...quick report from RL, as it were...
Well, I thought we were safe...what with the balancing ponds in our area...but no...
**Yikes! We're flooding!!!!**
Well, there are two brooks right near our house and the estate, both going to the balancing ponds. The one stream is flowing over the path that's across it by about 5cm, and is pouring into the ground, the brooks and the general grassy area around it!
It's making an awful row outside as well, with the water gushing all over!
Well, no time now to talk more, so...

Time to learn to canoe I think 
Still it was tipping it down in London earlier as I was walking for the tube, up a slight hill watching the small stream at the edge of the road...
They recon that this wet weather might continue for the next 3 or 4 months as well. Still should mean that there are still paddleable rivers in the spring as well as now 
(my problem is they might get too high in this weather 
)

Lovely day in Kiwiland. I think I may pop down to the beach for an hour or two and then spend a couple of hours in a nice garden bar. Wish you were here?

Good morning y'all! *coming in through the library* Aha, Matina's made mbougatses -- good morning for a walk to the cafe, I think.
I was pretty busy IRL yesterday, and it made me realise that I am wearing a badge on my user space that I haven't worked for in months, so I've just written to Anna and regretfully resigned my subbieship. I'm just a citizen again.
Munchkin, don't you have a bust of Shakespeare or Napoleon or something, who could wear that hat till it's dry?
