I wonder if the restriction is because of patients who use oxygen. A spark could result in a flaming patient!
Yes, I know all human beings use oxygen. You know what I mean.

Are we expecting the state inspectors to be impressed by charging of scooters in the bathroom? It seems like it'll just draw attention to the lack of adequate facilities.

I am not surprised you are not happy about where they are charging up the harkonnen, just doesn't sound right.
The boat is a proper boat. I shall put up details in my blog once the deal is done and she is mine in a couple of weeks.

Who watched Metallica at Glastonbury last night? I thought they were excellent and I would not count myself as a fan. I felt they won the audience over.

I see a flaw in your logic, Milla (in saying that Pastey finding the internal dialog familiar meaning that you're normal)...
Actually, I don't think I'll finish that statement

"Normality" is a set of views and values held by the social psyche. It's the viewpoint of the majority, and therefore changes as the majority change their mind.
Given that the majority are these days told what to buy, do and think, normality is defined by mass-media and marketing companies.
And given that, I prefer my own "normal"

I don’t think there is any danger of any salonistas being regarded as 'normal' and long may it continue that way. Vive la différence I say

Agreeing with Tod and Pastey - normality has wide borders
Denmark's equivalent of Glastonbury, the Roskilde Festival, has started somewhat - the camping area and pre-music stuff started Sunday. The concert area and the official music programme runs from tomorrow until Sunday and the family's going...
Both kids will join friends' camps down there probably from Friday (don't know if N's staying already from Thu) - us two s have pre-purchased a parking space by one of the entrances and will be returning to own beds. Halfway from being comfortable-seeking, halfway because pitching a tent Thursday (and we both couldn't and wouldn't before) is next to impossible, as space will be full.
10-12 concerts lined up the next four days - just need to get home from Istanbul first Including the headlines, of course - Stones, Arctic Monkeys, Stevie Wonder. And a host of others that sound good (or that I know) - such as Lykke Li and Jenny Wilson (S), Mø and Psyched Up Janis (DK), Damon Albarn (UK), Haim (US) ... and a few more that I can't recall

I am seriously out of touch. Who are those musicians? And, in reading the latest Wired today, I was educated to several new terms. Do you all mind if I vape?

You've not heard of the Rolling Stones (2005) or Stevie Wonder (2012)?
That reminds me of an old Isle of Wight joke.
'The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Kings of Leon are headlining the Festival this year.'
'The who?'
'Not this year'

Damon Albarn is formerly of Blur and, er, "assisted" the animated band Gorillaz. But perhaps Britpop is better known this side of the pond.
Looking forward to t'Grand Départ on Saturday. It's amusing the way hills in the area are being renamed in French. I wonder how long we'll refer to it as "Côte de Blubberhouses" for.

Damon Albarn gave a good show!
Greetings from Ottox and sunny - we just ran into each other (slightly SMS coordinated) at the Jenny Wilson concert at Roskilde

I had carpal tunnel release surgery this past Wednesday, aside from some trouble with the pain killers that night all is well and I am on the mend. I love not having numbness and tingling in my fingers.

Managed to get my backside in gear to go and watch the Tour de France go by in London today.
I've put more in my Journal.
